Awareness & action: clear information makes the climate crisis easier to understand. It shows people where the ‘red line’ lies and inspires them to take action and contribute to sustainable solutions.

Citizen participation: access to information gives local communities a voice. It empowers people to stand up against harmful fossil fuel projects, such as the construction of new gas pipelines.

Safety & preparedness: clear guidance prepares people for the effects of extreme weather. Understanding climate risks helps communities protect themselves and become more resilient.

About the Butterfly Foundation

We offset our CO2 emissions through Greentripper

At Travelbase, we take our responsibility seriously by minimising our environmental footprint, supporting certified climate projects and promoting responsible travel. We also amplify the positive impact of our trips through the Butterfly Foundation.

We offset our transport emissions by contributing to Greentripper’s climate project.

85% of our trips take place in Europe and close to home.

We work with local, small-scale partners whenever possible.

1% of our profits is donated to charities.
